Na stronie Maxon.net pojawił się darmowy upgrade dla osób posiadających wersję 11.5. Upgrade do wersji 11.528 zawiera w sobie ponad 300 istotnych poprawek.

Cindigo 2.2.1 - kolejna beta

Im pleased to announce, that Cindigo, the Indigo Exporter for Cinema 4D, version 2.2.1 Beta 1 was recently released.
It has numerous new features and improvements(see below) and offers an improved workflow for working with Indigo. I'd say its not second to none of the other exporters/renderer integrations. But thats just what i would say (you will have to try it yourself) 
It works with the 2.0 stable release of Indigo and with the recent 2.2.1 beta release.
For those who want to try it, a free/trial version of indigo with little (well, little compared to others) restictions is available at www.indigorenderer.com. There are currently PC builds for R10, R11 and R11.5 (all x86 and x64). Mac builds will follow shortly.
And a little reminder: We offer lifetime licences to the next 40 purchasers.

New Features and Improvements
Custom Indigo Material

The most prominent new feature of Cindigo 2.2.1 is the custom Indigo material. It allows you to create and tweak materials as easy as if you did it with C4D. It now has even more options and you finally dont have to hassle with the material helpers anymore!
It also does not have the restrictions you might know from other custom materials in other exporters/renderer integrations (yes, it supports camera mapping).
Generate UVW Coordniates for the Indigo Material

It is a known limitation of custom materials, that you cannot generate UVW coordinates for it. Well, it will not work with this custom material either - at least not the usual way.
In Cindigo 2.2.1 there is a new option in the plugin menu. It allows you to generate UVW coordinates for texture tags with an Indigo material applied. It only works on polygonal objects. Just select a texture tag with an Indigo material applied and select "Generate UVW Tag".
Support for C4D Procedurals and Shaders
Cindigo now supports C4D shaders - by baking. They are automatically baked on export and allow you to create better materials with less effort. The shaders are baked per material, so only UV space shaders will give expected results.
Support for C4D Procedurals and Shaders (3D)

Since the standard procedure only supports 2D shaders there is of course also a way to bake 3D shaders in Indigo materials on objects. It works similar like C4Ds "bake on object" command. A decent UV map is of course required. At some point "optimal mapping" will be supported, too.
Better Material Conversion
The material conversion was improved, too. It gives better results than before and it now also supports on the fly conversion of C4D materials during export!
Progressive Preview

Cindigo now has a better material preview. It updates progressively as Indigo renders. Unfortunately you still need Quicktime for the previews. That will change in the next versions.
Tons of OSX Improvements
Yes, there is no OSX build yet, but a lot of OSX improvements have been achieved, including proper Indigo launching, working material previews and material import/export improvements.

Superior Rendering Performance Including New Bucket Rendering
Significant re-tooling of the render engine in R11.5 helps artists render more rapidly and efficiently. R11.5 takes advantage of state-of-the-art multi-core processors and adds new features such as render instancing and bucket rendering to provide users tremendous improvements in efficiency. Render-intensive tasks such as sub-polygon displacement have been accelerated immensely. CINEMA 4D users can now create scenes of greater complexity, as even billions of polygons can be rendered on modest hardware.
Enhanced Picture Viewer
The new Picture Viewer in R11.5 offers a vast set of creative tools for reviewing and editing images and animations, saving artists valuable time. Features include a render history with the ability to compare renderings, image filtering and adjustments, post filter effects, and improved layer management. The RAM player also enables users to play back animations with sound even whilst the rest of the job is still being rendered. This gives users the ability to check animations for problems as they render.
Improved Interoperability and Integration
Users of Release 11.5 can now more easily integrate CINEMA 4D into existing production pipelines:
* Numerous improvements have been made to CINEMA 4D's highly praised connectivity to Adobe® After Effects®, including support for additional object types.
* Support for Apple® Motion now includes the export of 3D data.
* Support for Autodesk® FBX® 2010.0 allows for quick and easy interchange between a variety of 3D applications.
Powerful New Motion Graphics Capabilities
The motion graphics module MoGraph - a staple with CINEMA 4D motion graphics artists due to its quick workflow, fast rendering and easy export to compositing applications - has been upgraded to version 2 and provides powerful new motion graphics functionality. New features in MoGraph 2 include: MoDynamics, an optimized physics simulation package with which hundreds of objects can easily be made to collide or be affected by such forces as gravity or friction; PolyFX for providing quick and easy explosion effects; MoSpline for cloning existing splines and animating them with forces and effectors; and many more exciting features for broadcast artists.
Support For New Operating Systems
MAXON continues to build upon its legacy of providing compatibility with the latest advanced operating system release features:
* Apple - R11.5 is fully compatible with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, including access to up to 64GB of virtual memory.
* Microsoft - R11.5 is fully compatible with Windows 7, including enhanced file dialog.

Cinema 4D wersja 11.027 Update

Uaktualnienie wersji 11.021 do 11.027. Aktualizacja zwiększa ogólną stabilność w systemach Windows i Mac OS. Rozwiązano problem z Drag&Drop w Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). Przywrócono niektóre skróty klawiszowe. Rozwiązano problem z tagiem Align Goal, poprawiono stabilność narzędzi Dissolve, poprawiono problem związany z wyświetlaniem uaktualnień w trybie pełnoekranowym Zwiększono niezawodność automatycznych raportów o błędach. Wprowadzono poprawki w module MoGraph.
